Business Terms

These terms apply when you submit a vehicle inquiry through Tops Car.

Version 2026-06 · Last updated: June 2026

1. What Tops Car provides

Tops Car is a transparency-first car information and inquiry platform. We help you compare vehicle specifications, submit purchase inquiries, and receive structured quotes from vetted dealers and suppliers. We are an intermediary — not the seller of any vehicle. Our role is to source comparable options, break down costs clearly, and support you through inspection and purchase when you choose to proceed.

2. Free inquiry, fee on successful purchase

Submitting an inquiry and receiving quotes is free. You are never obligated to buy. If you complete a vehicle purchase through Tops Car, a service fee applies. This fee covers inquiry matching, quote comparison support, engineer inspection (for vehicle deals), and post-sale coordination. We do not profit by hiding markup inside an opaque total — every major cost line should be visible before you decide.

3. Transparent, itemized quotes

Quotes we present are structured, not a single verbal number. For vehicles, this typically includes vehicle price, logistics, taxes/duties where applicable, and our service fee as separate line items. We aim to provide 2–3 comparable schemes from vetted suppliers so you can choose what fits — not what a broker pushes hardest.

4. Your decision, no pressure

You decide whether to accept any quote or proceed to purchase. Tops Car does not require you to choose a specific supplier or complete a deal. Quotes are for comparison and planning. Final terms, availability, and contract details are confirmed directly before any binding purchase.

5. Engineer inspection (vehicles)

When you proceed to buy a vehicle through Tops Car, professional engineer inspection is included as part of our service — not sold as a standalone detection product. Inspection helps verify that condition matches the listing. Inspection-related costs are bundled into the service fee model described above, not presented as a separate upsell.

6. Revision rounds

Each vehicle inquiry includes up to 2 free revision rounds (e.g. budget, model, region, or timeline adjustments). Additional major changes after that may require a deposit or new inquiry, at our discretion.

7. Information sharing with suppliers

To prepare quotes and follow up, we share the information you submit — such as contact details, vehicle interest, budget range, destination, and notes — with vetted dealers or suppliers involved in your inquiry. We do not sell your personal data. Sharing is limited to fulfilling your request. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle data.

8. Cross-border and compliance

Cross-border purchases may involve import/export rules, taxes, warranty differences, and local registration requirements. Tops Car helps coordinate transparent quotes and trusted partners, but you remain responsible for understanding and complying with laws in your pickup, transit, and destination jurisdictions. We will flag known constraints when possible; final compliance is confirmed before purchase.

9. Disputes and supplier accountability

We work with vetted suppliers under admission and rating standards. If a listing materially misrepresents condition or a supplier fails agreed service levels, we will help coordinate review, remediation, or escalation according to our supplier rules. Tops Car is not liable for every aspect of a third-party sale, but accountability and dispute support are part of why clients use the platform instead of opaque brokers.

10. Changes

We may update these Business Terms from time to time. The version shown at submission applies to your inquiry. Material changes will be reflected on this page with an updated version date.
